RT Express
SMS and WhatsApp terms
Effective September 30, 2026. Same program as rtohio.com/sms-terms. Driver-app privacy: driver.rtohio.com/privacy.html. Dock Operations privacy: dock.rtohio.com/privacy.
Right Turn Express LLC dba RT Express sends operational messages by SMS and WhatsApp. These terms cover both channels. Messages are transactional, not marketing.
Required disclosures
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Message frequency: varies. Typically a few messages per dock visit or per trip (check-in, door assignment, ready or departure; WhatsApp status updates as the load moves). There is no set daily cadence.
- Opt-out: reply STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to cancel. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages on that channel.
- Support contact: reply HELP, or email office@rtohio.com.
Channels
- SMS from the US 10-digit number +1 513-997-6630 (Dock Operations and other RT Express tools). Do not call that number.
- WhatsApp through the WhatsApp Business Platform, used by the driver portal at driver.rtohio.com. WhatsApp / Meta process those messages under their own terms.
For help on either channel, email office@rtohio.com or call your terminal office.
Who receives them
Truck drivers, carriers, and warehouse staff who give a mobile number at check-in, when requesting a building forklift link, or when opting in through an RT Express driver or operations tool. We message only people with an operational relationship to a trip or a terminal.
What the messages say
SMS (dock / yard):
- You are checked in and should wait for instructions.
- Your trip is assigned to a door.
- The load is ready, waiting on freight, or has a load issue.
- A forklift operator is given a time-limited door-link for another building.
WhatsApp (driver portal):
- Assigned trips and stop details.
- Pickup and delivery status (en route, arrived, completed, delayed).
- Dispatch questions and coordination.
We do not send promotions, advertising, or recurring newsletters on either channel.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. A dock visit is typically a few SMS (check-in, door, ready or departure). WhatsApp traffic follows the trip: assignment and status updates as the load moves. There is no set daily cadence.
How you opt in
SMS: verbal or in-person consent when you give your mobile number at the dock window, or when staff enter a number you provided for a building forklift link. Giving the number is consent to receive operational SMS for that visit and related follow-up on the same trip.
WhatsApp: you opt in when you agree to receive driver-portal messages on WhatsApp (the number you register with us). We do not add numbers that have no operational relationship with us.
Opt-out information
On SMS or WhatsApp, reply STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages on that channel. Opting out of SMS does not automatically opt you out of WhatsApp, and the reverse is also true. Opting out does not cancel the trip.
Support contact
Reply HELP on SMS or WhatsApp, or email office@rtohio.com.
Rates
Message and data rates may apply. SMS charges depend on your wireless plan. WhatsApp uses your carrier’s data rates and WhatsApp’s own terms. RT Express does not charge you to receive these messages.
Privacy
We use the number you provided to send the operational messages described here and to keep a record that a message was sent. We do not sell phone numbers. SMS is delivered by our texting providers; WhatsApp messages are processed by Meta / WhatsApp. Carriers and Meta are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See also the driver-app privacy policy.
