This policy describes how Right Turn Express LLC dba RT Express uses a mobile number and related dock information for Dock Operations and for operational SMS. Messages are transactional, not marketing.
SMS program
- What we send: transactional dock alerts only — check-in, door assignment, load ready, and account status.
- How you opt in: in person, by giving a cell number at check-in.
- Message frequency: varies. About 1 to 4 messages per visit. There is no set daily cadence.
- Opt-out: reply STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. You will receive one confirmation and no further SMS on that number.
- Help: reply HELP, or email office@rtohio.com.
- Message and data rates may apply.
What we use the number for
We use the number only to send those alerts and to operate the dock. That means matching it to a visit, sending the status texts above, and keeping a record that a message was sent. We do not sell phone numbers.
Giving the number at the dock window is consent to receive operational SMS for that visit and related follow-up on the same trip. The full program rules are in the SMS and WhatsApp terms.
Dock app
Dock Operations staff use the dock app to run check-in, doors, and load status. Visit details needed for those alerts — who is checked in, which door, whether the load is ready, and account status for the visit — are used to operate the dock and to send the SMS described above.
Who else handles a message
SMS is delivered by our texting providers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not use the number for promotions, advertising, or newsletters. WhatsApp driver-portal messages, when used, are covered by the SMS and WhatsApp terms and the driver-app privacy policy.
Opt-out and support
Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email office@rtohio.com or call your terminal office. Do not call the texting number. Opting out does not cancel the trip.
